I just received word that in early 2017, this awesome place will be replaced by some crappy upscale apartment building. The property owner denied the lease renewal and sold to a developer. Thankfully, they have 2 other locations, but this one was by far the biggest and coolest of them.

the one on sellwood in downtown Portland? I usually go to either Oregon City or Milwaukie, got some of the best milkshakes around.

Yep, the Sellwood location. It’s right near work for me, but the Mrs. and I usually go to the one closer to us in Oregon City. I haven’t eaten anything there that wasn’t delicious!

I’m partial to Oregon City location since the remodel mainly because our car is one of the ones hanging on the wall, lol

I’m pretty sure it was originally an A&W. It fits the style of their buildings from back in the day.
